Meet Kate Hartnett
Kate is a dedicated psychotherapist based in Toronto, Ontario, offering virtual and phone sessions. Discover her passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health and wellbeing journeys and her commitment to providing effective and supportive therapy.
Kate is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO, registration number 10093).
Kate received her Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and has a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College at the University of Toronto. She is a former educator and has taught in both Canada and the United States. Kate also has an extensive background of working with non-profit social support organizations and diverse communities.

Her approach
Kate's approach supports a Biopsychosocial lens to therapy with a Psychodynamic influence in assessment. Depending on the individual, Kate will work using elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy, as well as incorporating Polyvagal Theory into practise.
